A Workplace
Reimagined

Harmony Studio was commissioned to design the Nairobi headquarters for Glovo, the global on-demand delivery platform. The project marked a significant milestone for the company's African operations — a campus built to attract top tech talent and embody Glovo's dynamic brand culture.

"The brief was to make people feel the brand the moment they walk in — before they've even reached their desk. Harmony Studio delivered exactly that." — Head of People & Culture, Glovo Africa

The brief called for more than just an office. Glovo needed a space that could reflect their dynamic brand culture and adapt to the way modern teams work. The result is a workplace that feels less like a corporate headquarters and more like a campus for creativity — zoned into deep focus, active collaboration, and restorative connection.

We developed a palette rooted in warm natural materials — oak, rattan, jute, and wicker — counterbalanced by dark powder-coated steel and cloud-grey upholstery. This tension between organic warmth and industrial precision became the defining character of the project.

Kenya's Largest
Mixed-Use Project

The workspace was zoned into three behavioural states: deep focus (workstation floors), active collaboration (meeting rooms and huddle zones), and restorative connection (lounge, dining, and informal breakout). Each zone received a distinct material treatment while maintaining visual cohesion through the palette

All meeting rooms were delivered with integrated AV technology including wireless casting, 4K displays, and Cisco room-booking tablets at each entry point — embedded into timber-framed doorframes to maintain the warm aesthetic without sacrificing functionality.

What Was Built

The space across one floor includes 300+ workstations, meeting rooms of varying capacity (4 to 12 seats), a full-service dining hall and café, The Commons lounge for informal collaboration, and a dedicated events space for all-hands gatherings and external events.

All meeting rooms were delivered with integrated AV technology including wireless casting, 4K displays, and Cisco room-booking tablets at each entry point — embedded into timberframed doorframes to maintain the warm aesthetic without sacrificing functionality.
